My path to therapy started in crisis work, which taught me that people are far more resilient than they know -- they usually just need someone who can sit with them in the hard parts without flinching. I use EMDR and somatic approaches for trauma, and Emotionally Focused Therapy when working with couples. I have a particular interest in helping clients who have experienced relational trauma, including difficult family systems and high-conflict relationships. I believe therapy should feel like a relief, not another thing on your to-do list.
